Who will I contact to check on the status of my transcript?
Throughout your service, you will only have one point of contact: PohlmanUSA. We coordinate all the court reporting and litigation support services you require in order to make the entire process smooth and painless. This significantly reduces the chance of miscommunication between all involved parties and guarantees consistent quality of work. We offer a variety of ways to contact us such as email, phone, fax and our interactive website.
Will someone contact me to confirm my scheduled deposition?
A Scheduling Coordinator always contacts a client twenty-four hours in advance of a scheduled deposition in order to confirm details and to confirm the deposition has not been moved or cancelled.
Will I pay more going through Pohlman to schedule my depositions?
Pohlman's great reputation has been built on our exemplary ethical conduct. We always bill our clients fairly for any services rendered. We charge the standard local rates for the area where the deposition is held.
What is your normal turnaround time for a transcript or video?
Our standard delivery time is 8-10 business days for which our regular rates apply. If the need arises, we can also provide expedited delivery. Rush rates may apply in these cases.
Will I be receiving my work directly from the reporter or videographer?
All court reporting and litigation support products are sent to our clients directly from Pohlman after careful examination by Quality Control. This way we are able to guarantee that every client receives a product consistent with Pohlman's high standards.
Does Pohlman have experience with large cases?
PohlmanUSA has managed litigation nationwide since its conception in 1990 and understands the unique nature and challenges of such cases. We have vast, solid experience with this type of litigation and handle such on a daily basis. We are more than ready and willing to help you handle your caseload.
How do I pay for the services I schedule?
For firms that have no payment history with Pohlman, we do require Secure Payment. We also offer COD terms if this method is more convenient, and in this case, a check for the amount due is collected upon delivery of the transcript or video. Once a payment history has been established, Pohlman is happy to set regular payment terms for our clients.
Does Pohlman adjust transcript margins and line count?
Pohlman's reputation is built on ethical business practices, and therefore, no adjustments are made to the original transcript. Every transcript delivered is the original work of the present court reporter without modification to margins or line count.
May I receive a copy of my transcript via email?
PohlmanUSA is happy to offer this convenient service for our clients. We are able to create an electronic transcript. We provide a link on our website so any client may download this software in order to view and print these files on their computer. The software is free, and the file format is firewall friendly.
How does telephonic deposition management work?
Many deposition locations allow us to offer this convenience. Pohlman takes care of all the details to save our clients both time and additional business expenses. We set up a toll-free number in advance of the scheduled deposition, and our clients are then able to contact us by phone or through our website in order to register and receive the attendance password. On the day of the deposition, all registered attendees can then simply dial the toll-free number and participate.
Where is Pohlman located?
PohlmanUSA is located in downtown Saint Louis, Missouri approximately 15 miles from Lambert International Airport and near Busch Stadium in the heart of the sports and business district. Many fine hotels and restaurants are within walking distance. Does Pohlman arrange for conference rooms to conduct depositions?
Pohlman is happy to support our clients with this service. We can arrange for an appropriate room anywhere in the United States. Simply let us know the number of people that need accommodation, and Pohlman will take care of all the necessary details. We can also provide video conferencing and teleconferencing for any participants that are not able to physically attend.
